Seeking Adult Voices

As we promoted in our blog last week, we have been urging all youth from Ulster County in grades 9th through 12th to complete, by December 1st, the Youth Prevention Survey that we have partnered with the Ulster County Department of Mental Health to push out in order to access the needs of our youth. That information will allow us to offer resources and supports needed in our communities.

With that being said, we are also asking that adult voices also be heard! In conjunction with the Youth Prevention Survey, we are also conducting another anonymous survey of the parents, guardians, and caregivers in Ulster County to get an accurate representation of needs and future resources and supports to further enhance prevention efforts.

We want to hear from you as well–your voice is important! We need to hear from everyone in our community, from the youth to those who care for those youth. This not only helps us but also our other partners in Ulster County who offer other resources throughout the community. Working together to promote and serve our communities is what we strive to do. Ulster Prevention Council wants to promote everyone’s right to thrive!

So, please scan the QR code on this blog or on the flyer and answer the few questions. It is brief and will take about 5 minutes of your time. Let other adults know about the survey and spread the word–the more responses we have, the more data we have to understand the needs of you–our community members. Remember, your responses are anonymous and there is no way to track who has completed the survey. You can make the difference for yourself and others.

Thank You!
