Ulster County Youth Survey
Through collaboration with the Ulster County Department of Health and Mental Health, Ulster Prevention Council administers a Youth Risk Survey to students in grades 7-12 biannually.
Ulster County takes an open and evidence-based approach to prevention. We use survey results to determine risk and protective factors and measure a wide variety of behaviors and perceptions within the community. We can then plan accordingly to implement age-specific strategies to affect a positive change.

Ongoing surveys, along with other available data, help us to evaluate the effectiveness of the selected programs.
